Pocare: A New Way To Monitor Your Poultry's Well-being
Pocare is a new breed of poultry monitoring system that can assess the behavior and disease factors with the temperature analysis of the body, tracking chicken movement, and analyzing sound by installing a microphone.
About poultry health monitoring
In Recent decades, poultry disease outbreaks have occurred frequently, seriously affecting the poultry industry. On the other hand, Modern management systems in the field of poultry breeding are not the same as in the past and due to the expansion of volume and dimensions of poultry breeding these diseases are able to readily spread. Therefore, the need for periodic poultry health monitoring for poultry farm managers is more than ever. Poultry health monitoring has always been a major challenge for poultry farm managers. Due to the large number of poultry on a farm, conventional manual poultry health monitoring will be time consuming and costly.
How AI-Powered Technology Is Bringing Chicken Farmers A Step Closer To Better Care
In the global poultry industry, chicken farmers are facing a problem: they are losing money as their chickens get sick. It's hard to diagnose these diseases quickly enough, which is why farmers have begun turning to technology for help. One system that has been gaining traction is AI-powered. The machine learning software can analyze billions of data points in order to spot the signs of illness, so it can be dealt with before it becomes too costly.
AI, more than a tool: it’s a new way of thinking
Artificial intelligence is not just a new tool for chicken farmers but a new way of thinking. With AI-powered technology, farmers can now monitor their flock more closely and identify potential problems earlier. This allows them to take proactive steps to prevent disease and improve the health of their flock. In addition, AI-powered technology can help farmers optimize feed and water usage, resulting in cost savings and improved animal welfare.
How Will AI Affect the poultry care industry?
The poultry care industry is on the cusp of a revolution, thanks to the introduction of AI-powered technology. This cutting-edge technology is helping chicken farmers to monitor their flock’s health and well-being better, as well as identify potential problems before they occur.
For example, one popular AI-powered solution is known as ‘computer vision’. This involves using cameras and algorithms to detect signs of illness or injury in chickens automatically. The system then sends alerts to the farmer so that they can take action to treat the affected animals.
Overall, AI-powered technology is bringing chicken farmers closer to better care for their flock. With this innovative tool at their disposal, they will be able to improve animal welfare and decrease costs – two key factors that are essential for a successful poultry business.
Computer Vision,
Automation of Poultry Health Monitoring
The solution to this problem based on deep learning algorithms and computer vision services. Sensor and detection algorithms can allow for much faster detection of bird disease in addition to providing a rapid on-site diagnosis. This will allow for counteractions to be taken sooner, for example by quarantining poultry houses or farms, thereby decreasing the chance that infection can spread to other groups of poultry. With this technology human intrusion and human error will be eliminated.

What do we help?
Poultry fecal image processing
Fecal of poultries have biological information. Color and shape of healthy or diseased poultry are different. By continuous monitoring of surface of poultry farm and fecal image processing , existence of disease in flock will be distinguished.
Flock activity analysis
Poultry activity and behavior provide extensive information on the health of these animals. By optimizing deep learning algorithms and proper computer vision, we have been able to obtain health information from poultry behavior and activity. By using computer vision, Sick poultry are identified and can be isolated and quarantined by the poultry farm management.
Thermal camera image processing
Climate control systems use sensors measuring the temperature around the poultries, which can be different from the actual body temperature of the broilers. We describe a method for estimating the body temperature of an individual broiler and validate it for commercial poultries. The method is based on a low-cost IR camera calibrated in real time.
Poultry sound processing
There is a difference between the sound of healthy and unhealthy chickens. By comparing the frequency domain of healthy and sick chickens and using deep learning algorithms, it is possible to detect the presence of disease in a poultry farm and send a warning to the poultry farm manager.
How it works
Grow Your Flock and Make More Money
Pocare can assess poultry behavior and disease factors by analyzing thermography of the body temperature, tracking chicken movement, and analyzing the sound of the poultry.
